libvala-0.22-dev software package provides C# like language for the GObject system - development headers, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libvala-0.22-dev
libvala-0.22-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libvala-0.22-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libvala-0.22-dev *
You will get with libvala-0.22-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
